JEN FISTER, MSW, LSW

ADOPTION SERVICES PROGRAM SUPERVISOR

Jen received her MSW from the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa specializing in Children and Family Studies. Jen joined the Childplace team in 2014. Throughout her 13 years of professional experience, she has worked with state social service agencies, prospective foster and adoptive families, and children in foster care. She also obtained her CSW certification in the state of Kentucky and LSW certification in the state of Indiana. As a licensed Social Worker, Jen provides guidance and oversight to the agency’s adoption program.

TAYLOR MCCARTHY

ASSOCIATE ADOPTION SERVICES PROGRAM SUPERVISOR

Taylor received her BSW from the University of Louisville. She joined the Childplace team as a student intern in August of 2016 and later as a staff member in July of 2017. Taylor has served children and families in a variety of settings. As a licensed Bachelor of Social Work, Taylor provides guidance to staff and oversight of criminal history reports.

PAUL DENNY, M.DIV.

ADOPTION SERVICES SUPPORT STAFF

Paul received his Master of Divinity with a concentration in counseling from Cincinnati Christian University. He has also received a Master of Arts in Practical Ministries and a Master of Ministries. Paul served as a full-time minister at various churches for 21 years and has served children and families in residential and foster care settings for the past 10 years. He joined the Childplace team in July of 2015. Paul provides home study services and criminal history reports to adopting families.

REBEKAH JOHNSON

ADOPTION SERVICES SUPPORT STAFF

Rebekah received her BS in Global Studies from Boyce College in Louisville. She has served children in a variety of settings, both internationally and in the States. Rebekah joined the Childplace team in September of 2019. Rebekah provides post-placement and home study services to adoptive families.

EMILY JOHNSON

ADOPTION SERVICES SUPPORT STAFF

Emily received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kentucky. She has served in multiple social service settings since graduation, including a food pantry and homeless shelter. Emily joined the Childplace team in May of 2018 as an administrative assistant in the counseling office. She transitioned to her current role in foster care in 2020. Emily provides home study services and support to adoption clients.
