LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN)

Jeffersonville

What we need you to do:

You will work collaboratively with residential direct care staff, providing health assessments and care to clients in the agency's residential treatment program serving adolescents with emotional and behavioral issues in unlocked, staff secured facilities on our Jeffersonville campus. You will assist with medication management, provide assistance in actively supervising clients in care, and serve as a member of the agency's crisis response team.

Attention to detail is required for this role, as medication management in coordination with the agency's psychiatrist will be one of the primary responsibilities of this individual.

Schedule:

Semi-flexible scheduling, 4-5 days a week, accumulating 40 hours between 8am and 8pm Monday through Friday.

Compensation:

  • Starting pay for the role is $25.00/hour

These are the qualifications we are looking for:

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Be able to pass multiple background checks
  • Be able to sustain moderate physical activity
  • Current LPN or RN in Indiana

Upon hire, candidates will need to complete a tb screening, basic employment physical, and drug screen, in addition to a driving record search to determine eligibility to be placed on the agency's auto insurance.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide health assessments for residents
  • Assist with medication management, including coordination with agency's psychiatrist, communication with residential staff, and new employee training on medication & health protocols
  • Assist with active supervision of clients, in collaboration with direct care staff
  • Provide tb screening for new intakes and employees, as needed
  • Serve on agency crisis response team
