Korra

Therapy Dog

After nearly a full year of daily classes, Korra became a certified Therapy Dog and a full member of the Childplace Clinical Team in November of 2024. Korra was rescued by Christian Miller when she was 2 years old, and currently works alongside him in a wide array of services, ranging from traditional therapy, to playing soccer with kids on campus. Korra's main role is to serve as a source of comfort and calmness, helping clients better regulate their stress and anxiety in the moment. Korra is also the main star of the reading program Tales to Tails, which serves children from Childplace, Foster Care, the local library, and local schools to help improve reading skills and confidence.
