Michael Monroe

Michael first connected with Childplace while he and his wife were pursuing foster parent licensure. During that time, they learned they were expecting their second child and, after much prayer, decided to pause the licensing process. Michael’s passion for Childplace and its mission continued, and when an opportunity became available in the maintenance department, he eagerly stepped into the role. In January 2025, Michael joined Childplace as the Maintenance Director. He brings a diverse professional background, including degrees in accounting and occupational health and safety, equipping him to lead with both operational excellence and care for the wellbeing of others.
